What this E-Book & Course are Not:
This book is not a guide to pet care. Will you learn some animal behavior and tips for pet sitting? Sure. But the real goal here is to help you get paid to house sit. You won’t find step-by-step instructions for how to care for animals. You cannot learn that from a book! You learn animals by putting in the time with them. There is no short cut for that.
This book is not about starting a large pet sitting business. If your dream is to build a company with employees, pet sitting software and a huge client roster, this isn’t the guide for you. I’m a solopreneur by choice and focus exclusively on house sitting.
This book is not a rigid, one-size-fits-all business plan. My approach is flexible and intuitive, designed for individuals who want to create a lifestyle or side hustle that works for them. Take what is helpful to your goals and leave the rest (although I’m gonna bet most of it is helpful!) It’s practical advice based on 5 years of real-world experience.
This book is not a deep dive into free platforms like TrustedHousesitters. While I do touch on how I use free exchange platforms to fill gaps in our schedule, the focus of this guide is on paid house sitting and how to make it a sustainable source of income.
This book is not a promise of overnight success. Building a thriving, profitable house-sitting gig takes effort, time, and consistency. If you’re looking for a quick-fix way to make money, this is not the book for you.
